It's been over a year since we last saw him in the Highlands, so it's great to have multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Al Davey returning to feature alongside our Sunday Sessions Quartet. Al has been a fixture on the Sydney jazz scene for over 30 years and a long-time player in the legendary Unity Hall Jazz Band.

Originally from Melbourne with brass band and traditional jazz roots, Al studied at the Sydney Conservatorium under James Morrison, Roger Frampton, Paul McNamara and Judy Bailey. He is recognised as one of the truly versatile musicians in Sydney, at home playing authentic ‘trad’ jazz, be bop and beyond, Latin, and is an established lead trumpeter in big band sections.

The band will play from 2-5pm. The $30 ticket price ($20 for student/child) is for event entry only, with reserved table seating. If you have any special song requests or seating preferences, please let us know when you book! Doors open from 1:00pm with food and drinks available for purchase from the bar.
