Trumpeter, songwriter and vocalist Eamon Dilworth presents Crawfish Po’Boys as our special treat for Sunday Sessions Jazz on the 18th of May. Inspired by the trad jazz of New Orleans, the band combines classic songs with raw vocals and swinging trumpet and clarinet in the front line.
Crawfish Po’Boys is diverse and brings together some of Australia’s finest jazz and blues musicians. Their brand of jazz is not only entertaining but also brims with humour and infectious energy, ensuring an unforgettable experience for the audience.
“Eamon Dilworth’s Crawfish Po’Boys fully embrace the tradition of early jazz. The raw vocals and high energy of these young musicians performing recognisable classics from the early swing is infectious and uplifting.” - Eric Dunan, professional trumpet player and music educator
